Maggie Wang, Psy.D.

About me

“I view therapy as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how your day to day thoughts and feelings can be connected to your behaviors, emotional states, and relationships with others. I strive to bring compassion, warmth, and humility into our work together so that you can continue crafting and moving towards the life you want to lead. Part of this process will draw upon your strengths and values to embrace change in challenging areas of growth. Within a collaborative space, we will explore and work through barriers that prevent you from living more fully.”

Dr. Wang received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. She completed her doctoral internship at California Pacific Medical Center – Sutter Health, where she trained with a specialization in health psychology and an emphasis in women’s mental health. Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, co-morbid medical conditions, and perinatal health. Dr. Wang focuses on delivering culturally-sensitive care and utilizes various treatment modalities including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and modern psychoanalytic therapy.
