About me

“I see therapy as a unique relationship, unlike any other, where we can slow down to examine and address the difficult tension points in your life. Balancing deeper reflection with practical tools, I anchor my work in relational and behavioral approaches that foster both greater awareness of patterns no longer serving you and an increased capacity to draw on strengths and skills, new and old, in service of your goals. I particularly enjoy working with individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, emotion regulation, depression and anxiety. Every person’s journey is unique, and I strive to tailor my approach to the demands and cultural context of your world. My style has been described as authentic and affirming, and I believe in the healing power of humor as we face the joys and sorrows of life together in therapy.”

Dr. Kranenburg received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute and attended Dartmouth College as an undergraduate. She completed her doctoral internship at San Jose State University Counseling Center, with an emphasis in trauma treatment. Her clinical work draws from a diverse array of evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Kranenburg worked in management consulting, advising executives on talent and innovation initiatives. She enjoys cycling, discovering new music, and gathering friends and family for deep chats.
