We serve individuals who are struggling after experiencing disruptive life event(s). We are guided by scientifically-proven principles. Yet - our work with each client is unique, based on their individual goals, preferences, and background.
WE CAN HELP you recover from a wide variety of distressing experiences. These include one-time events and repeated experiences that may have occurred recently or as long ago as childhood. They may cause symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (“PTSD”), such as having unwanted memories of the event(s) or avoiding reminders of the event(s). Or they may cause other problems, such as anxiety, depression, difficulty managing powerful emotions, substance misuse, and relationship problems. It is never too late to seek help.

WE WORK WITH YOU. You have a unique background and unique concerns and preferences. Therefore, we work collaboratively with you to determine the goals, methods and course of our work. It may take many different forms, and we work side-by-side with you along this journey. We incorporate elements of a variety of treatments that have been demonstrated to be effective by scientific studies and are consistent with trauma treatment guidelines. These may include skills training to help you cope, processing of traumatic memories to help you heal, and fostering post-traumatic growth to help you live more fully.. We also work closely with PBH’s physician who offers medication management for interested clients.
