“Many of my patients are adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and multicultural concerns. My therapeutic approach often combines research-informed psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment perspectives within a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about helping my patients to identify their inherent strengths and motivations for change while also bringing awareness to obstacles that may be blocking them from experiencing lives that feel fulfilling and meaningful.”
Dr. Taylor is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Sports Medicine. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute, and he completed his doctoral internship at The White River Junction VA Medical Center and Dartmouth College where he received specialized training in the treatment of post-traumatic stress, psychodynamic theory and practice, and neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Taylor completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where his training focused on evidence-based treatments for anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, the treatment of high-performance athletes, and clinical supervision.
